CLEAN YOUR VINYL RECORDS

Cleaning your vinyl records is an integral part of the ritual and should become a reflex, or even a pleasure! While the days when beer sometimes spilled on records seem to be over, vinyl records still have two hereditary enemies: dust and grease, which combine to clog the grooves and degrade sound quality.

WHY ANTI-STATIC?

Vinyl is a particularly electrostatic material, which not only attracts dust but also keeps it stuck to the surface. Anti-static products (brush, cloth, pad brush) allow static electricity to be discharged and dust to be removed.

BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING

As older people know, you don't put your fingers on the grooves. Vinyl records should be held as follows: middle finger under the center hole and the edge resting on the base of the thumb. If, despite this, your vinyl record has greasy marks, you should clean it with an alcohol-based solution and an appropriate support (velvet pad or cloth). Be careful not to do more harm than good!
