VINYL RECORD & LITERATURE

When, like the vinyl record, you have contributed so much to the history of graphic design, it's only natural to be featured in many richly illustrated books. Classified by musical category (Rock, Prog, Yéyé, Blues, New Wave, Reggae, ...) or from more original angles (vinyl record and comic strip, "sleeveface", crazy collectors), these selections of covers can turn into a sacred quest akin to collecting Panini stickers of ASSE 1976. You've been warned!

DUST & GROOVE

The book based on the blog Dust and Grooves by the excellent New York photographer Eilon Paz is undoubtedly the most beautiful ever printed on the subject and should be in every vinyl lover's library worthy of the name.

THE CD TOO

On a website entirely dedicated to vinyl records, the presence of a book on CD design might be surprising. But how can we not pay tribute to the artists who managed to express themselves with such talent despite the format constraints, and to the author for his brilliant investigative work?
